![]() I had this same issue on mavericks/yosemite, and i fixed it using the boot0 EFI partition guide, but that applied to MBR and chimera. Now i see the files, but still i can only start clover from USB and then boot from the installed OSX. NOTE 3: i formatted the EFI partition and tried again. NOTE 2: There's an /Volumes/ESP/EFI folder with basically the same files as the ones in the USB NOTE: my windows installation is at disk 0, so i cannot do the dual boot trick mentioned in the guide. What can i do to fix this? When choosing disk1s1, i don't get an error, and the green light shows up on clover configurator, but it's empty. If i choose disk2s1, EFI mounts and the icon shows up on the desktop. There is nothing major here to remember since a lot of what happens here is cosmetic. Select the CLOVER in the directory extracted from the Clover compressed file, then click 'OK' button to upload it. I was able to do this normally on 10.10 without issues (i used chimera back then, but i needed to mount EFI to make booting from HDD) I spent some time writing a walkthrough of Clover Configurator. Right-click on the EFI directory and select 'Upload'. I even downloaded EFI mounter v3 and same thing. I am trying to boot without my USB drive, so i run clover configurator and try to mount EFI, but i get asked what partition to choose. I essentially use Clover Configurator simply for mounting the EFI volume - nothing else, especially not doing the configs etc (hard enough getting those right at the best of times). dev/disk2 (internal, physical): This is my USB drive which i need to boot dev/disk1 (internal, physical): This is my second HDD and where 10.11 is installedģ: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk1s3Ĥ: Microsoft Basic Data WD2TB_E 975.1 GB disk1s4ĥ: Microsoft Basic Data WD2TB_F 975.1 GB disk1s5 dev/disk0 (internal, physical): This is my main windows SSDĠ: FDisk_partition_scheme *512.1 GB disk0 I just installed 10.11, ran the post installation Clover UEFI package, but my El Cap partition is flanked by windows partitions like this: Building a CustoMac Hackintosh: Buyer's Guide
